SEASON’S TRENDS: CHOCOLATE BROWN

This season, designers want to see us dipped in chocolate. Don’t worry, it won’t affect the silhouette! On the contrary, this rich color will only make us look sweet. You can go for a total look (as seen at Tod’s, Jil Sander or Emilio Pucci) or combine a chocolate skirt or a pair of trousers with a clean white top (as seen at The Row). A brown coat is also a must! Ralph Lauren Show-Off Show

Now that NY Fashion Week is over, we can state this: the most extravagant show of the season was Ralph Lauren. Not only did the acclaimed designer decide to host the event in his private garage (displaying 26 of the rarest cars in the world) in Bedford Hills, 40 miles outside New York, but he ferried more than 250 top-class guests to the location in approximately 150 Mercedes S-class cars. Wow! But that’s not all, oh no, that’s not all. The entire event culminated with a dinner of lobster salad and burgers from Ralph's signature restaurant in New York, the Polo Bar.
